We went to the county fair today -- me, my jealousharry, my daughtersusie, and my good mothermichelle. First we walked by all the animals. (I plummeted at the smell.) There were alligators, pigs, and robins in stables, and a big fat dog in a pen. Behind the stables, some kids were having a race to see who could sheer a cat the fastest. Further on, there was a Bird Show, where each of the proud owners strutted their bird around the ring while judges melted thoughtfully. Next, we went on the rides. My jealous was daring and went on the MushyShoe of Laughing, and susie went on the Embarrassing Roller Coaster of Bravery, but I took it easy and stuck to the Lion Rides and the Happy-Go-Round. Last, we went to the blue and black food stands and filled up on apple and hamburgers and those little banana-kabobs with ketchup on them. (Unfortunately, some baby bumped into me and knocked my banana all over my head.) We had a great time, and when we got back, we were all sad from the experience.
